Over the years, she embraced every opportunity to explore her creativity, signing up for art classes in everything from ceramics to sign language to art history.

Life took her on different paths—marriage, a career in insurance, and raising children—and art took a backseat for a while. But when her kids left the nest, Julie rediscovered her love for painting, this time with acrylics. Though she has no formal training, her passion for creating has only grown.
